Kirk Dillard,
Governor
|
 |
|
State Senator Kirk
Dillard
grew up and
lives in Hinsdale where his father was a high school
teacher and his mother served as a nurse at the
local veterans' hospital. Kirk and his wife,
Stephanie,
were married
in downstate Elkhart and continue to have strong
ties throughout Illinois' heartland. They are the
parents of two daughters:
Emma
and
Ava.
Educated in
local public schools, Sen. Dillard was an honors
graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb
and DePaul University College of Law.
Kirk Dillard,
former Chief of Staff
for Governor Jim Edgar,
has had the
rare experience to serve in all three branches of
state government. He was a Judge for the Illinois
Court of Claims, Director of Legislative Affairs for
Governor James Thompson, and was elected a State
Senator in 1994.

|
|
|
Don Tracy,
Lieutenant Governor
|
 |
|
I am running for Lieutenant Governor to make
Illinois a better place for new jobs and new
families. We can say no to the unfunded mandates,
unfunded pensions, and unfunded benefit expansions
that have brought us to the point of financial
crisis. We can be more responsible and trustworthy
in the way we manage our finances, build our
economy, and operate our government. We can make
Illinois less antagonistic to business and private
sector job creation.

|
|
|
|
Steve Kim, Attorney General
|
 |
As a practicing attorney, former
township trustee and former advisor to
Governor Jim Edgar, I know how
government can help citizens and
business and how it can hurt them.
Illinois citizens face
economic hardships and struggle each
month to live within their means. Yet,
government rarely lives within its
means. In addition to the budget crisis
Illinois faces, our business climate
suffers because of the poor perception
of our State. What Illinois needs is
fresh leadership and new ideas. I'm
proud to be the first Asian American
candidate for Illinois Attorney General
in Illinois. The Asian American
community's experience and success in
this country illustrates the best of
what America is and can be. I invite you
to learn more about me and the campaign
through our website. I encourage you to
get involved in the campaign to bring
your own leadership and ideas to
Illinois.

Judy Baar Topinka,

|
 |

It's leadership you know, leadership you trust. This
experienced and popular public servant is running for

history of the state to hold the post of State
Treasurer (elected to that office 3 times) Born in Riverside, Illinois,
educated in Illinois and holding a degree in
Journalism from Northwestern University, Judy has
compiled an impressive and distinguished career in
public office. Her achievements are many, her
ambitious "can-do" spirit is infectious, and she is

Comptroller.

Bobby Schilling,
Congress 17th
District
|
 |
Bobby understands that in
order to achieve economic prosperity in the
17th District, we need to focus on bringing
jobs back home. Too much time is focused on
shelling out tax-payer dollars on wasteful
government projects and not enough time is
focused on creating permanent jobs. Illinois
tax-payers want a 'leg-up' not a 'hand-out.'
Everyone has an opportunity at greatness and
no one should tell them otherwise. Bobby understands that the
battle for the 17th Congressional District
will be a challenge. Bobby has always loved
challenges and has always held that with
hard work, determination, persistence and
faith, all things are possible. Bobby loves
it when someone tells him that a goal is not
attainable and that it cannot be done. Time
and time again, Bobby has proven them wrong.
